OUR MISSION

The aim of TAMA is to engage in the reduction of social inequalities by providing services and support to people in vulnerable situations. Tama particularly supports but is not limited to, migrants. The goal is to support those affected by conflict, gender-based violence, poverty, and forced migration. It is committed to the empowerment of communities, both disabled and non-disabled, by actively supporting skills development among its members and volunteers.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Reducing Inequality

Contribute towards achieving gender equality

Engage in efforts to combat gender based violence by service provision, research, awareness raising and community based advocacy

Engage in research and service provision to persons in vulnerable situations, including disabled persons in post-displacement settings, migrant women vulnerable to abuse or persons affected by gender based violence

Raise awareness among the general public and decision-makers on migration, gender, disability, conflict, climate change, and any interaction between these issues

Raise funds by means available with the purpose of carrying out the organizational mission and providing the necessary services

Engage in research and efforts to advocate on issues around human security and human rights
